About Brittney Calvin

Brittney Calvin is a current doctoral student (Psy.D.) at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Dallas. She graduated from Hampton University in Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with concentrations in Pre-Medical Sciences and Leadership Studies. Brittney subsequently earned a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA.

Prior to pursuing her doctoral degree, Brittney worked as a Psychiatric Crisis Intervention Specialist, providing emergency psychiatric assessments and care, at various mental health hospitals in Houston. She now assists with providing psychological and neuropsychological testing to children, adolescents, and young adults at Blossoming Brains. Her specialty interests include trauma research, child and adolescent populations, and forensic psychology.
